In Honor of Dr. Anna Tirado
The Cherry Grove Community Association (CGCAI) operates the Thermacell Tick Control Program, distributing tick control tubes twice yearly (Spring and Fall) to residential properties throughout Cherry Grove.
This community-wide initiative helps reduce tick populations and lower the risk of Lyme disease by targeting mice, which carry ticks that spread disease.
How it works: Biodegradable tubes filled with specially treated cotton are placed around properties. Mice use the cotton for nesting, which eliminates the ticks they carry and helps break the tick life cycle.
The program covers all residential properties in Cherry Grove and is funded by CGCAI, with the support and donations of our community.
Through programs like this, CGCAI remains committed to protecting the health, safety, and quality of life for everyone in our community.
