Ocean Walk Greeting Billboard Call for Submissions
We are excited to announce a call for submissions for the Cherry Grove 2024 Ocean Walk Greeting Billboard featuring your artwork!
From panoramic beach scenes to tranquil situations within the natural environment.
The selected artworks will be printed in a large format and prominently displayed on The Ocean Walk Greeting Billboard at the central corner of Ocean Walk. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your work seen by locals and visitors alike.
Last year’s photograph by Kathleen O’Donnell will stay up just before Pride month.
Submission Criteria:
Medium: photography, drawing, painting, or mixed media.
Your artwork should aim to capture and celebrate the diverse flora and fauna native to Cherry Grove, including its landscapes, dunescapes, seascapes, and rainbows in summer. We encourage you to explore the vibrant colors, unique textures, and rich biodiversity that characterize our environment.
Horizontal/landscape format required for billboard image.
Two submissions are allowed per application.
The deadline for submission is May 19th, 2024.
Submission Fee $50.00
The 2024 Ocean Walk Greeting Billboard dimensions are 9’ x 6’.
The Beautification Committee will select submissions best suited for the billboard. The CGCAI community members will then have the opportunity to choose the final selection for installation 2024.
Submission Specifications:
Artwork must be landscape (horizontal)
Most file formats are acceptable (.psd, .png, .jpeg, camera raw, etc.) and original, unedited/unresized images should be a minimum of 8mb with 20+mb ideal.
Vector submissions must be in a native, editable format (.ai, .eps, .svg, illustrator .pdf)
Entry Directions:
1. Save your file in high resolution format of at least 8+ mb.
2. Pay the entry fee and complete the entry form below.
3. Go to http://www.wetransfer.com, upload your files and add beautfication@cgcai.org to the “email to” form field.
A small committee will choose several submissions best suited for the billboard, but CGCAI members will vote on the winning work for 2024.
